Team 1403

After a long month of editing, Jay and I on the A/V team finally finished editing the final Chairman’s submission yesterday. Here’s the final product for those of you who didn’t see or want to see it again.

Congratulations to all for an amazing competition! We loved playing with all of you.

Thank you to our Alliance members 103 and 3142… it was a great ride to the finish.

Congrats to our mentor Brian VanLiew for his nomination for the Woodie Flowers Award, which will be awarded at the MAR championship in two weeks.

With The Final Countdown blasting in the background, aggressive defensive blocking, exciting bridge balances and last-second baskets, one point ended up keeping us from winning the finals. Red alliance with a devastating loss 52-53. Great job everyone… what a great match. Congrats to all.

Finals… a tough loss, 42-53. A last-second red bridge balance could not give us the win. Two more chances, come on, red alliance!

Our autonomous mode is back! An exciting round… a come-from-behind victory to put us in the finals!! Red alliance win, 60-38!

Our bot did not shoot in autonomous mode again… We played some defense picking up balls from the blue side of the field with 3142 while 103 did its thing. Go red alliance, we win 49-23!

1403 with some difficulties this round, but that doesn’t stop the Red Alliance from moving on! Go team, we advance to the semis!
