Team 1403 created a presentation for the students in the MHS special education program to demonstrate the VEX robots, a smaller-scaled representation of what our team does. The members organized a friendly competition for the students between each VEX robot. Students were given the chance to operate the robots and encourage their fellow peers during each round of the competition. The students guided the VEX robots through a series of simple obstacles to reach the finish line. The Skybox students were thoroughly intrigued and fascinated throughout the whole experience. They enjoyed playing with the VEX robots, along with seeing the full-size robot model from the previous year. Overall, it was a well-conducted demonstration of the mechanical structures the team works with.
