On Sunday, January 5th, 2020, Team 1403 hosted a strategy meeting, where the team discussed strategies for this year’s competition. Before the meeting, members of the team were told to read over the game manual that was released during the Kickoff the day before so they could be better prepared to discuss the game strategies.

The meeting started off with a presentation from the strategy sub team, outlining the guidelines and rules for the game. They went over the different parts of the game including the specifics regarding points. Following the presentation, members had the opportunity to ask any questions they had regarding the game manual and game rules. Afterwards, the members were split into smaller groups where they came up with different ideas and strategies regarding the main objectives and goals for the game. Groups then agreed on a strategy in a larger discussion. 

At the end of the meeting, everyone came back together and talked about the goals of the game and what the team should start working on in order to accomplish them. In this three hour meeting, Team 1403 had engaging and thought-provoking discussions about this upcoming robotics season. Everyone was looking forward to the new challenges!
