Elimination Round 014

Wow. One of our alliance partners, Team 3515, could not continue. Team 203, being the backup bot, replaced them in our alliance. Our new Blue Alliance was ready to go for the first semi-final match, but only one Red Alliance robot was on the field. The entire gym was cheering “let them play” (meaning the two late teams) but the rules did not allow it. Our Blue Alliance wins 56-19 against a single competitor.

Elimination Round 012

Our alliance put up an amazing fight coming down to the buzzer as we were down by nine and then quickly got one balanced robot to pull ahead by 1 point to a 39-38 win.

The opposing alliance was disqualified at the end of this round unfortunately for attempting to get our team to foul. We would have advanced even if we had lost, but it’s great to know we won!

Elimination Round 008

Our first attempt at playing defense!! A tough loss. We entered this round with a new kind of tactic in mind. As an alliance we got on the ramp at the end of the round for a bonus 20. points placing us only 2 points down. Our goal was to get our bot to play defense, it was a great idea, and an even better attempt that just didnt quite work.
