The New Arm

We’ve learned a lot since Rutgers, and one of the biggest things was how to push down the ramp with less error. We switched to a system of using a metal fin to wedge down the ramp rather than pneumatically pushing the ramp down because it was a lot more effective for other teams.

Crash

So in the last match, our robot’s battery failed right in front of the Coopertition bridge. Another team tried to get onto the Coopertition bridge so that the alliance could still score Coopertition points, but, with the way our drive train was designed, our robot couldn’t be shoved. Their robot, on their third attempt to get on the bridge, accidentally wheelied onto our robot and landed on the side of our robot.

Qualification Match 019

Some technical difficulties for us this round. Our bot did not shoot for Hybrid points and froze up while going after a third consecutive bridge alliance. One of our alliance partners tried to shove 1403 out of the way, but ended up leaning on our immobile bot. Red Alliance still wins, 10-32, helping us keep first place in the standings.
